White-label
Resellers on the Enterprise plan can offer JodaPrint under their own brand: their name, logo and colours in the dashboard, and branded agents.
Branded dashboard
JodaPrint attaches a brand to your reseller organization. The brand has a product name, a logo, a favicon, primary and secondary colours, a support link and a domain. The dashboard is themed by host name: open it on your domain (for example print.yourcompany.com) and it shows your brand. Invitation emails and the download names use it too.
Customers
The reseller's Customers page:
- creates customer organizations, each with an invitation for its owner;
- sets each customer's plan;
- opens a customer's dashboard (as an administrator of that organization; every action is in the customer's audit log);
- deletes customers.
Your own Branding page edits the brand with a live preview.
Customers are isolated from each other like any organization: a customer never sees another customer's devices, printers or jobs.
Branded agents
A branded agent shows your name everywhere the user sees the product: the service and tray names, the tray icon, the local pages, the certificate authority name and the installer names. It connects to your cloud URL by default.
Branded builds are made from a brand file (brand.json) with the --brand option of every build script: agent binaries, the Windows MSI, the macOS pkg, the Linux packages, and Gradle properties for Android. Branded releases are published on their own channel and signed with your release key.
The build guide is docs/white-label-builds.md in the JodaPrint repository.
Self-hosting
