Integrations

Ready-made integrations print from common platforms without code. Each one lives in the integrations/ folder of the JodaPrint repository, with a README that covers installation and every setting.

All of them need an API key from Dashboard → Developers → API keys. A jp_test_… key prints in the sandbox, which is handy for a first try.

WooCommerce

A WordPress plugin (WordPress 6.4+, WooCommerce 8.2+, PHP 8.1+, HPOS compatible).

  • Prints a built-in receipt or packing slip (58 or 80 mm), or any dashboard template, on new orders and on chosen status changes.
  • Jobs run in the background with Action Scheduler, so checkout is never slowed down, and an idempotency key per order and event means an order never prints twice.
  • Settings: WooCommerce → Settings → JodaPrint. Each order also gets a Print with JodaPrint action.
  • In English, French and Creole.

Shopify

A Shopify app that prints every new order.

  • The merchant installs it, pastes an API key and picks a printer; each orders/create webhook becomes one cloud job, with the idempotency key shopify-{shop}-{orderId}.
  • Built-in receipt or a dashboard template.
  • If the printer's computer is offline, the job waits in the cloud (24 hours by default).

Odoo

An Odoo 17 module.

  • POS receipts print through the agent on the till (local mode, works without internet), with a fallback to Odoo's own printing.
  • Delivery slips print as PDF through the cloud API (by button, or automatically when a delivery is validated) or through the local agent.
  • Settings per company; French and Creole translations.

n8n

The community node n8n-nodes-jodaprint (Settings → Community Nodes → Install).

  • JodaPrint node: create, get and cancel jobs; list printers and templates.
  • JodaPrint Trigger node: starts a workflow on any webhook event, with the signature checked.

Zapier

  • Action Create Print Job.
  • Triggers Job Printed and Job Failed (they need webhooks on your plan).
  • The API key needs jobs:write, jobs:read, printers:read, devices:read, and webhooks:write for the triggers.

Your own integration

Everything the integrations do is available to you: the REST API, the Node SDK and webhooks.
